eScrip is Safeway’s school rewards program. Link your Safeway rewards card to MTA’s Account #500016175 and MTA will automatically receive up to 3% of anything you purchase using that card!  During the Back to School programs, Safeway will donate 10% back to MTA when you purchase yellow school bus tag items.  Make sure you shop Safeway during the promotional period to maximize the earnings for MTA.  Go to the eScrip website at escrip.com to connect your Safeway card to MTA. Go one step further and register your debit and credit cards and when you shop the eScrip on-line mall or eat at participating local restaurants, monies are donated directly to MTA.

From September 15, 2011 through December 31, 2011, every Fresh & Easy receipt collected by MTA that is $20 or more will earn money for MTA.  Receipts can be dropped off in the Parent/Guild room or send into your child’s teacher.  A Shopping night at a local Fresh & Easy store will be held in the fall where the school collects 5% of the store’s gross sales that night.

Link your Fry’s VIP card to MTA’s account #11325 and start earning money for MTA!  You need to connect your Fry’s VIP card to MTA at the beginning of the school year and then it is good for the year.  Each school year you need to renew.  For every $50,000 spent at Fry’s, MTA receives a $500 check.  Fry’s will begin tracking purchases effective September 1st.  Make sure you connect your VIP card as soon as possible and encourage family, friends and colleagues to do the same.  Only one school can be designated on a Fry’s card.

Print the barcode and write down MTA’s account number and take to the Fry’s Customer Service desk at a local store to get connected.”

Sign up for the Target REDcard and you save 5% on every purchase.  Connect your REDcard to MTA and the school receives a 1% donation from Target.  You can choose a Target Debit Card or Credit Card and sign up at the in-store customer service desk. The REDcard Debit Card is connected to your bank account so funds are deducted directly from your checking account. Upon receipt of your REDcard, call 1-800-316-6142 or go online at www.target.com/tcoe to designate MTA (ID #150436) as your school. Shop the Super Target at the Christown Spectrum Mall for back to school supplies and for Christmas presents while earning money for MTA.  Go to Target’s home page to learn more about its Red Card program.

Go to the Doozy of a Deal website and see ½ price deals on various services.  Every time you buy a Doozy of a Deal, they give 7.5% of the purchase to the school which you've selected to benefit. Make sure that you designate Madison Traditional Academy!  They make it that easy for you to feel good about helping your school, while getting a Doozy of a Deal on an item or service that you really want. So remember to Save Big, Spend Less and Give Back at www.Doozyofadeal.com.

Turn those shopping trips into easy cash for MTA, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. This program gives MTA 10¢ for every valid Box Top submitted.  All you need to do is clip the Box Tops label from the packages (must have expiration date) and turn them into your child’s teacher.  Classes will receive rewards when they reach 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 collected Box Tops.  Schools can collect over $3,000 in one year - 10¢ at a time! Put out a collection box or envelope at work or at church! If you don’t collect Box Tops and turn them in, then MTA loses free money.  To learn more and keep up to date on all the latest offers and bonus rewards sign up with Box Tops for Education at www.boxtops4education.com.

To register for eLabels for Education go to http://www.elabelsforeducation.com. This is in addition to cutting and turning in the barcodes to your child’s teacher.  If you have linked your Fry’s and Safeway cards to MTA, then go onto the eLabels for Education homepage listed above and designate MTA as your eLabel school. Fry’s and Safeway will track your Labels for Education purchases at checkout and automatically send the points to MTA.  We can get double points by earning the points that are scanned at store and then clipping the same barcodes from the product and turning them into your child’s teacher!

Collect barcode labels from Campbells® soup, Prego® pasta sauce, Swanson® broths, Pepperidge Farm® breads, cookies, crackers & frozen products, Spaghettios®, V8® Splash and V8® Fusion drinks. MTA accumulates points from the barcode labels and this allows needed supplies to be ordered for the school. Cut off these barcodes and turn them into your child’s teacher.

Go to mycokerewards.com website and set up your login and password. Every time you purchase Coke products look for bottle caps, box ends or plastic wraps with the coke rewards code. Products include any type of Coke, Sprite, Dasani water, Powerade, and Minute Maid to name a few. Once you enter the Coke Rewards code, then it will tell you how many points you have earned. Donate the points to MTA. Or, if you don’t have time to enter the reward points, drop off the bottle caps, box ends, or plastic wraps in the Parent/Guild room, which is at the end of the north hallway of the MTA office. Set up a collection container at work to collect bottle caps and box ends. These points add up to purchase playground equipment, art supplies, televisions, DVD players, and more.

MTA collects these drink pouches, cleans them, and recycles them to raise funds for MTA. Students can recycle their drink pouches after lunch by putting the pouch in the recycling bin in the cafeteria. Parents can also save the drink pouches at home and bring them to school cleaned and counted in a plastic Ziploc bag.  Note how many pouches are in the Ziploc bag. Place them in the recycling bin in the cafeteria and the committee will mail. Save pouches at sport practices, games, birthday parties and family get togethers and send into school. Let’s turn trash into cash for MTA!

The MAD Money Committee promotes store programs in our community that give money back to MTA at no additional cost to you. The following stores and programs give back a percentage of what you buy to MTA. The Committee also collects Box Tops, CapriSun/Kool Aid juice pouches, Coke Rewards, and Labels for Education each year. Don’t let free money go to waste. Connect your store cards, collect our program items and enlist family, friends, and neighbors to support MTA.
