Our Mission:
To support the educational experience of the students at Madison Traditional Academy by.....

  • Establishing and maintaining a working relationship between the parents, school and teachers  
  • Enhancing the quality of education by raising funds for school programs, equipment, resources or supplemental materials that fall outside the school budget 
  • Providing volunteer support to increase student safety and security and to facilitate the educational experience 
  • Developing and assisting with the implementation of programs and projects that will enrich the curriculum

2/29 - Full Day Schedule, 3:00 pm release (10:50 for AM kindergarten)

3/1 - Spring and Class Picture Day (uniforms required)

3/2 - Staff / Teacher Breakfast, 7:00 am - Sponsored by 1st grade parents

3/2 - Half Day (Teacher Planning), 11:30 am release (8:50 for AM kindergarten)

3/3 - Talent Show, 6:30 pm at Madison Meadows

3/5 - 3/9 - Field Day
(3/5 : K/1;  3/6 : 2/3;  3/8 : 4/5/6;  3/9 : 7/8)

3/6 - District Board Meeting, 6:00 pm

3/6 - Parent / Teacher Conferences (evening)

3/7 - Half Day - Parent / Teacher Conferences, 11:30 am release (8:50 for AM kindergarten)

3/7 - Spirit Night at The Chill Frozen Yogurt noon - 9:00 pm (5810 North 16th St - SW corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home Road)  Don't forget your flyer!

3/9 - MTA T-shirt Day

3/12 - 3/16 - No School, Spring Recess

Individual and Class Pictures will be taken March 1st.  Uniforms are required.  To volunteer, send an email to info@mtaguild.org.

The Talent Show is coming on March 3rd! Auditions will take place February 16 and 17.  Find out more here!

Our next Spirit Night is March 7th at The Chill Frozen Yogurt / noon - 9:00 pm (5810 North 16th St - SW corner of 16th St and Bethany Home). 
Stop in for a cold treat and MTA will receive 20% of the proceeds!  (You must present flyer upon purchase)  Hope to see you there!

Family Fun Day is March 24th from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm at Madison #1.  If you'd like to volunteer, sign up here!
MAD MONEY update...
 MTA ranked 5th in the nation for the Escrip/Safeway 10% Back-to-Schools receipt program.  MTA will also get a $1,000 bonus for ranking in the top 100, for a grand total of $13,202! Big thank yous go out to committee chair JoEllen McBride, as well as all the volunteers and participants. MTA is amazing!

MTA has also received our 2nd $500 check from Fry's for spending $50,000. Its' amazing how much faster the money adds up when we all connect our cards to MTA. Can we earn another $500?
