Our Mission:
To support the educational experience of the students at Madison Traditional Academy by.....

  • Establishing and maintaining a working relationship between the parents, school and teachers  
  • Enhancing the quality of education by raising funds for school programs, equipment, resources or supplemental materials that fall outside the school budget 
  • Providing volunteer support to increase student safety and security and to facilitate the educational experience 
  • Developing and assisting with the implementation of programs and projects that will enrich the curriculum

The Talent Show is coming! An informational parent meeting will be held on Monday, January 30th @ 5:30pm in the cafeteria. Find out more here...

Volunteers Needed! 
No art background is necessary
to volunteer for our Art Masterpiece program!  The program runs February through MayIt is a fun way to bring enrichment to MTA students and get involved.  Training is scheduled to begin the end of January, so check out our page for more details.  We need volunteers to make this amazing program happen! 

The Art Walk is coming!  
On Thursday, February 2nd, our K - 3 grades will have their artwork on display for purchaseVolunteers are needed to frame art, as well as assist the night of the event. Find out how to have a blast and get some volunteer hours! 


Open enrollment school tours will take place for new families on 1/31
Incoming Kindergarten tours are from 8:10 - 8:55 am; incoming 1st - 4th grade tours are from 9:00 - 9:40 am, and incoming 5th - 8th grade tours are from 9:50 - 10:30 am. 
New family enrollment forms will be accepted starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, February 4th. Questions?  Please call the MTA office at 745-4000, press 0. 


MAD MONEY update...
Rankings for the Escrip/Safeway 10% Back-to-Schools receipt program are in and MTA ranked 5th in the nation for its gross earnings. MTA will also get a $1,000 bonus for ranking in the top 100, for a grand total of $13,202! Big thank yous go out to committee chair JoEllen McBride, as well as all the volunteers and participants. MTA is amazing!

MTA has also received our 2nd $500 check from Fry's for spending $50,000. Its' amazing how much faster the money adds up when we all connect our cards to MTA. Can we earn another $500?
